Derek Dickow is the founder of Metro Detroit-based public and political relations firm, Steward Media. He is known as a power connector to reputable organizations and community leaders throughout Michigan.
Derek lists several members of city council, mayors, state representatives, senators, judges, and presidential candidates among the company’s client base, and is most proud of his fundraising abilities for local charities. He and his team have generated millions of dollars in support of worthy causes.
He’s attended thousands of networking events over the years and is considered a “master of networking.” Because of his incredible ability to connect, his team has created their own networking events, bringing value to various industries.
Derek’s passion is assisting his clients build relationships with key leaders, and because of his expertise in networking, saves his clients time and money. Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson honored him as an Elite 40 under 40 and DBusiness Magazine recognized him in DBusiness’ 30 in Their Thirties.
He serves the community as a board member of the Local Development Finance Authority of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, Troy Community Foundation, a member of the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce where he chairs the Political Action Committee, and Leaders for Kids Advisory Board of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

Doug Tietz uses his years of business and public affairs experience to be a relentless advocate for his clients. Doug served as Senior Advisor to Congressman Dave Trott for five years and has the unique distinction of having in-depth experience at every level of government (municipal, county, state, and national).
Doug is passionate about connecting individuals with the expertise and relationships necessary to achieve their goals and ensure sustainable growth and value. Prior to his work in the United States Congress, Doug served in key leadership roles growing statewide public affairs efforts and businesses throughout the United States.
Doug has served both as an elected Oakland County Commissioner and Troy City Councilman. He is the Chairman and founder of the Troy Community Foundation, officer in the Kiwanis Club, and recognized as part of L. Brooks Patterson’s 40 under 40.
Director of Communications and Development
Ashleigh Quaigg is our Director of Communications and Development. Her experience lies in project management, event management, marketing, social media, design, and photography. Ashleigh is passionate about growing the organization and using her creative skills to enhance our client base.
Ashleigh is a Michigan native; she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in photography from College for Creative Studies. Through various positions, Ashleigh has acquired essential skills needed to drive success.
Ashleigh has a passion for photography and enjoys capturing families and children. She translates this passion into professional successes at Steward Media and with her free time.
