Derek Dickow’s Talk on “How to be Successful” at Oakland University

October 30, 2014 / BY / IN Blog, Public Speaking

Oakland University and the Executive Board of the Chaldean American Student Association (CASA) invited our founder, Derek Dickow to speak to students on October 30, 2014.  “It is always great visiting OU and giving back to the future leaders of our community”, said Derek Dickow.

“Derek Dickow gave a motivational speech to our group on the topic “How to be successful”. His speech centered around how the key to success is not choosing a path that seems to make the most money, but the path that you enjoy the most. \

To be successful, you have to be good at something, and the best way to be good at something is following your passion. Derek is an example of this, and he communicated this message very well to all the attendees. Although most didn’t know what to expect when attending a speech about such a broad topic, the vast majority of our members left extremely satisfied with Derek’s speech and thought it was a great addition to our semester agenda.

With his well-thought out speech, interactive speaking style and great deliverance, I would highly recommend Derek Dickow to any other organization that is in need of a good motivational speaker.

We will definitely ask Derek to come back in the future”

-Halim Sheena – 2014-15 President, Chaldean American Student Association at Oakland University
