Description: GKN Automotive held its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of its new Americas Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI on June 25, 2015. Steward Media assisted in the coordination of the event.
Over 600 people celebrated the ceremony of GKN’s new state-of-the-art facility. Guests included government officials, customers, employees, and leadership from GKN’s international headquarters of the United Kingdom.
The event consisted of networking, lab tours, and a formal program in which guests saw a video depicting the global impact of GKN. The program also included remarks from the President of GKN Driveline Americas, Robert Willig, Senior Vice President of Program Management Strategy, James Voeffray, Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s, Steve Arwood, Auburn Hills Mayor Pro-Tem, Robert Kittle, and Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson.
