Description: On September 5, 2019, Las Vegas Stone & Flooring hosted a grand opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate their redesigned showroom and distribution center. Over 100 guests convened at the Schaefer Hwy. headquarters to tour the brand new, state-of-the-art showroom followed by remarks from Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Detroit Councilman Gabe Leland, and Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones. 

Rob Kaoud and his family were awarded the Spirit of Detroit Award by City Council President Jones for their dedication in seeing this project through, and relocating their business to Detroit. Jone’s and Duggan commended the family for being the embodiment of the Detroit spirit and the American dream. According to Rob himself, “It’s been a dream of our family’s to highlight products we’re proud of and for our customers to see and feel our items first-hand. After having a storefront in Las Vegas for many years, we were compelled to move our operations to Detroit to be a part of the revitalization and fill a growing need in the flooring distribution space.”
