Beztak and Etkin Open All Seasons of Birmingham

Independent Senior Living Community

Birmingham, Mich., August 20, 2015‐ Beztak Properties, a distinguished Midwestern real estate company, and partner Etkin, a Michigan based real estate development company for over 30 years, created an exceptional independent living community, celebrated their Grand Opening.

The celebration offered food, beverages, entertainment and featured a tour of the community. A few of the guest speakers included, Elizabeth Carlson, Beztak Properties President; Sam Beznos, Beztak Partner; Shelly Goodman Taub, Oakland County Commissioner; Stuart Sherman, Mayor of Birmingham; Joe Bauman, President of Birmingham/Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce; Ingrid Tighe, Business Development Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation on Behalf of Governor Rick Snyder; and L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive.

All Seasons of Birmingham is situated on the corner of Maple and Elm Street in the heart of downtown, amid quaint shops, dining and entertainment. The new community consists of 131 luxury one‐and‐two‐bedroom independent senior living apartments. Displaying a number of live‐work units with private street‐level entrances from Maple Road, the exceptional community is one of a kind.

“I’m very excited about the opening of All Seasons Birmingham. It gives our residents the opportunity to live in the center of Birmingham to enjoy all the culture and festivities that are just steps outside their homes, while living in a sophisticated, innovative and active senior community,” said Sam Beznos.

All Seasons of Birmingham is not your ordinary senior living community. Upon entering the community one might observe the unique interior that mimics a five‐star resort in its own distinct way. A Bosendorfer Grand Piano sits comfortably in the center of the glass‐ enclosed lounge while a billiards table in a separate room compliments the leisurely feel of the voluminous space.

“While trying to provide everything residents might have had in their homes, I tried to create a 5‐star boutique experience,” said Interior Architecture and Designer John Bodag who has been working with Beztak for over twenty years. Natural sunlight and greenery can be found throughout the building as Bodag wanted to “create a bit of the country side within the urban environment.” The rooftop conservatory and bistro‐styled dining room are examples of Bodag’s vision with their large windows that douse the space with natural light.

“You have to come see this place to believe how gorgeous the physical plan is… All Seasons adds to the quality of life in Birmingham and Oakland County,” said Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson.

The four‐story location expects to be fully occupied within six months of the grand opening. The community caters to well‐traveled individuals that enjoy resort‐style independent living. Amenities include: first‐class dining, entertainment venues, fitness facilities, a diverse mix of social events, lectures, classes and escorted excursions; All Seasons residents will appreciate high quality living.

The European styled community also features a well‐stocked library with computer bar, state‐of‐the‐art fitness center, multiple game and event rooms and chef‐prepared fine dining. No detail was neglected. “We join our partner, Beztak, with a great deal of pride and excitement as this outstanding senior living community is now serving its early occupants.” said Etkin Partner, Doug Etkin.

Residents are equally impressed by their new community, “never could I have imagined immersing myself like this, I have made more friends in the last month than in the last 40 years. I have never seen a more dedicated staff anywhere, the people are amazing,” exclaimed resident, Johanne Robinson.

All Seasons of Birmingham is the third addition after two beautiful locations in West Bloomfield and Rochester, other locations in Michigan are currently under development. The All Seasons brand plans to extend to Naples, Florida, which begins construction at the end of August, and Oro Valley, Arizona.
